This policy describes how Special Purpose LLC ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the specialpurposemedic.io website and the Special-Purpose-Medics mobile applications we publish for iOS and Android (together, the "Services"). The short version: the apps collect no personal data at all, and the website collects only what you type into its contact and download forms.
Our apps run entirely on your device. They do not require an account, do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data, and contain no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.
Settings you choose (for example theme, language, or sound preferences) and training progress (for example scenario scores) are saved in the app's own storage on your device only. This information never leaves your device and is deleted when you delete the app or clear its data.
The apps do not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or files. Where a device supports it, an app may use vibration for haptic feedback and audio playback for monitor tones and scenario sound — neither involves any data leaving the device.
The apps are built to work fully offline. They do not phone home, and no usage information is transmitted to us or to anyone else.
The website is informational and requires no account. It uses no third-party analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. We collect information in two places only, and only what you choose to type:
Preferences such as your chosen language or theme are kept in your browser's local storage on your own machine; they are not transmitted to us.
Our hosting provider processes standard, short-lived technical server logs (such as IP address and requested URL) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, as any web host does.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing. Information is handled only by the service providers that run our infrastructure (website hosting, email), under their own confidentiality obligations, and may be disclosed if the law requires it.
We keep form submissions and correspondence only as long as needed for the purposes above. You may at any time ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — write to partnership@specialpurposemedic.io and we will act on the request. Because the apps collect nothing, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on their behalf.
The Services are professional training tools and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information through a website form, contact us and we will delete it.
Website traffic is served over HTTPS. The small amount of information we do receive is accessible only to the people who need it to respond to you.
If our practices change — for example, if a future app adds an online feature — we will update this policy at this address and revise the effective date above before the change takes effect.
